PhotoBooth, released by Apple Inc., is available for iPad and Mac.  You can take pictures, using the camera, and can special effects them.  The effects include adding a background, changing heads, noses, and eyes, etc., and are funny and addictive.  PhotoBooth also allows you to take videos and four quick pictures-it puts the four quick ones into a sort of page, with the first in the top left corner, the second in the top right corner, etc.  iPhoto consists of several amazing features.  Once you've done what you want with the picture in PhotoBooth, add it to iPhoto.  You can put it in an album, a folder, a book, or send it off through PhotoStream.  Here is a list of special effects on PhotoBooth:

Here are some things about iPhoto:  



iPhoto contains PhotoStream, the ability to recognize faces in pictures, (so, say you've programed your iPhoto to recognize someones face.  The minute you take a picture of that face, it will know that the person in the pic is on of the ones you've programed it to remember), art books, imports, the list goes on and on.  I have found Apple's iPhoto to be an incredibly helpful app.  It is also on the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch app store, for $4.99.
